Laying the wreath for Brussels Legion Branch 218 was president Don Blenkhorn. Gorrie Miss Mary Anne Bernard and -Mr. Jeffrey Alcorn of . London visited Saturday at the same home. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hedley of Teeswater and Mr, and Mrs. Martin Scott spent sev- eral days with Margaret Scott of Don Mills. Enroute home they called on Mrs. Mary Richter of Weston. Wm. A. Smith and Allan Edgar, Molesworth, returned Saturday evening from a motor trip to Red Deer,, Alta. They al r. so visited at the home of Mr. Walter Olson of Regina, Sask. A surprise 35th wedding anniversary dinner for Bill and Gertie Kellington was held on Nov. 15 at the home of Don and Joyce Jacklin and family. Family members attending: Larry and Bonnie Kellington and family of Springfield, Bob and Nadina Kellington and family of Stratford, Murray, Jason and Kevin Kellington of Brussels. Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Edgar were dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wright in honour of their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar were married at Teeswater on Dec. 2, 1931. Rick Alcorn and Nina Little of Orangeville visited Wed- nesday with the former's parents Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Alcorn. Mrs. Roger Crosbie of Toronto spent Remembrance Day with Mr. and Mrs. Dick Carson, Mrs. Carson accom- panied her home for a few days and was joined by Mr. Carson. They attended the Royal Winter Fair on Satur- day. Mr. and Mrs. Dougla's Ferguson, Carrie and Blair of Act on spent last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Alcorn. Mr. and Mrs. Alvie Higgins celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Sat. Nov. 7th with a family dinner held at the Brussels Inn. Edgar, Barrie, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ward, Jeff and Julie, St. Marys, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Higgins, Ken and Deb, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Higgins and !Thug of Brussels and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Noble of Hanover. After supper they returned to their home and enjoyed an evening of playing cards and receiving visits from their friends and relatives. Out of town weekend guests with Mrs. Elsie Evans were Mr. and. Mrs. H. Zieg- ler, Mr. and Mrs. W. Sattler, Heidleberg; Mrs, Marion Hulley, Seaforth; Hank and Betty Evans, Huron Park; Mrs. Dorothy Cameron and friend, Don Mills, Toronto.
