DeVries entertain- ed the members of the Af ternoon Unit of the U.C.W. in her home, Tues- day. Nineteen members and one visitor attended and 32 visita- tions were recorded. The President, Mrs. Ida Evans welcomed everyone by read- ing a poem, "Peace" follow- ed by Prayer. Mrs. H. Hazelwood con- vened the devotions. All joined in singing, "Come let us sing of a wonderful love". The Bible Study Psl. 100-was read in unison. The discus- sion was led by Mrs. Ruth Hupfer. This is another Psa. 1m which exhorts every- one, everywhere to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord," and to continually praise and exalt our Saviour with friend- ship, love, devotion and ser- vice. Frequently we act as if we were self-made and be- come puffed with pride.
