ember meeting. The Presid-
ent, Mrs. James Mair opened
with a reading from the first
chapter of Acts. The reports
of the secretary and treasurer
were received. A nominating
committee for 1982 officers
are Mrs. Gerald Gibson and
Mrs. Joe Martin.
The December meeting
, will be held at the home of
Mrs. Gerald Gibson on Fri-
day, December 4 at 2 o'clock.
Members and others wH
have saved used stamps are
asked to bring them to the
December meeting and give
them to Mrs. Ken Innes.
Mrs. Amy Speir gave a
reading entitled "The Car-
penter's Tools". The devot-
ional period consisted of the
unison reading of Romans8,
verses 24-32. Mrs. Harvey
Dennis gave a meditation on
"Hope" which she said is a
vital part of all our lives and
that it keeps the human race
living. Prayer followed by
Mrs. Joe Martin. The Topic
"An Adventure in Faith" was
given by Mrs. Clark Mathe-
son stressing the value and
importance of "faith" in our
lives.

Past noble Brands
meet at Lowe's
The newly formed Past
Noblle Grands club held its
second meeting at the home
of Mary Lowe. Winifred Ed-
gar being the co-hostess.
Several members joined and
after a short business period
chaired by Verna Thomas,
Mary Lowe gave secretary
and treasurers reports,
All enjoyed Court Whist.
Lunch was served by the
hostess. The December meet-
ing is to be held Dec. 7 at the
home of Jean Bridge. Mar-
gurete Crawford is co-hos-
tess.

WATSON—GRAY
Wendy Jane Gray of Waterloo, daughter of Alf and Iris
Gray of Palmerston and John Carson Watson, of
Kitchener, son of Carson and Alma Watson of Brussels
were married on Saturday, August 8 in Harriston United
Church with Rev. R. McCrae officiating. The bride was
given in marriage by her father. The maid of honour was
Lynne Westwood and bridesmaids were Mary Gray, Judy
Schaming, and Brenda Eckhardt. The best man was Phillip
Morgan of Orillia and ushers were Don Gray, Derek Smith,
and Joe Watson. Wedding music was played by Neville
Leake and the solo was by Susan McEachern, a cousin of
the bride from Sudbury. Following the wedding, a
reception was held at the Harriston Legion. The couple
took a wedding trip to Western Canada and will reside in
Kitchener.

Betty Anne Stevens, daughtei of Mrs. Alice Stevens and
the late. Lome Stevens of Listowel and Cecil Troy McClory,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray McClory Of R.R. 1, Bluevale were
married on Saturday, August 29,at Brussels United Church
with Rev. Eric LeDrew officiating. The bride was given in
marriage by her brother Ken Stevens of R.R. 1,
Gowanstown. The maid of honor was Sherry Green of
Wingham and bridesmaids were Mary Ireland of Brussels
and Velma Louttit of Listowel with a niece of the bride,
Sherry Stevens of Ethel as.:a junior bridesmaid. Connie
Stevens, niece of the bride of R.R. 1, Gowanstown was
the flower girl. Ted Elliott of R.R. 2, Blyth was the best
man and Keith Holmes of R.R. 1, Listowel and Paul Bragg
of R.R. 3, Brussels were ushers. The organist was
Michelle McCutcheon of Brussels and the soloist was Julie
McCall of Brussels who sang, The Rose and You Light Up
My Life. Following the wedding,- a reception was held at
Elma Memorial Community Centre in Atwood. After a
wedding trip to Kokomo, Indiana and Nyoming Lake,
Indiana, the McClorys have taken up residence in
Listowel.
