The Fall Conference of the
Stratford Presbyterial
Women's Missionary Society
was held at Cavan Presbyter-
ian Church, Exeter, on Wed-
nesday Oct. 28. Theme of the
Conference was the Year of
the Handicapped. The guest
speaker was Wendy Hines,
who is employed as a public
education co-ordinator work-
ing with the mentally handi-
capped in South Huron Dis-

handicapped adults. A film
"Stones in the Stream" was
shown. Soloist at both sess-
ions was Joyce McVicar,
London, who is blind and

from Cranbrook was Mrs.
Clare Veitch, Mrs. Wilfred
Strickler and Mrs. Mac Eng-
el.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Baker of
the ninth concession of Grey
spent some time recently with
relatives in Schomberg.
John Strickler was able to
come home from Stratford
hospital on Wednesday. He

Toronto the weekend of Oct.
24th to 'attend the Cummins
-Bourne wedding. A family
dinner was held at the home
of Mrs. Mary Barr on Sunday.

A short meeting was held
after lunch to discuss a few
old problems.
Three well disguised
persons drifted in, wandered
around and then disappeared
leaving no problems and no
dues.
