Dr. and Mrs. Donald McRae have returned from the American College of Chest Physicians Convention in San Francisco. Max Watts is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Mrs. Linda Kohloff of Saginaw Michigan, visited the past week with her cousin Mrs. Harry Bolger. TRACEY LYNN BRADSHAW daughter of Mary Bradshaw and granddaughter of Mrs. W. McPhail of Brussels recently received her Canad- ian Citizenship among SO others at Kitchener. Tracey Lynn was born in Ireland.. Thomson, who is recuperat- ing at the manse, Monkton. The Fall Conference of the Stratford Presbyterial Women's Missionary Society was held at Cavan Presbyter- ian Church, Exeter, on Wed- nesday Oct. 28. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Baker of the ninth concession of Grey spent some time recently with relatives in Schomberg. John Strickler was able to come home from Stratford hospital on Wednesday. Mrs. Howard Mitchell attended the funeral of their uncle in Linwood recently. They also attended the wedding of Mrs. Mit- chell's niece in Thorold on October 24. On Friday their granddaughter, Darlene Petti and friend of Thorold visited them, Mr.a nd Mrs. Sid Barnes, London, spent the weekend with Mrs. Ida Gordon. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Ste- venson,. Mra nd Mrs, Fred Stevenson, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stevenson, and Mr. and Mrs. Murray Blake were in Toronto the weekend of Oct. 24th to 'attend the Cummins -Bourne wedding. A family dinner was held at the home of Mrs. Mary Barr on Sunday. Curlers play cards, A progressive euchre party Curling. With 9 tables in play and after two hours the winners were High Men's - Mervyn Bauer; High Women's - Ross Cunningham; Men's Low Score Winner was Doug Bauer; Women's Low Score Winner was Julie Mitchell. All the score cards were gathered and the winner of the draw was Annette Lewington. A short meeting was held after lunch to discuss a few old problems. Three well disguised persons drifted in, wandered around and then disappeared leaving no problems and no dues.
