Gorrie WMS hears Rev. Ball
"If you Think,, You'll
Thank" was the subject of the
sermon when Rev. Wesley
Ball of Thamesford was guest
speaker for the Fall Thank-
offering of the Women's
Missionary Society of Knox.
Presbyterian Church, Gorrie.
The Bible instructs uslo give
thanks," Mr. Ball said, and
suggested a ladder of thank-
fulness which Christians
should try to climb, from
being thankful, to be different
from others, ,through tthank
ing the Lord for his many
blessings, the high point of
faith's victory when God is
praised not for what he gives,
but for what he takes away.
Guests included the famil-
ies and friends of the mem-
bers as well as visitors from
St. Andrews Presbyterian
Church, Molesworth, Wrox-
eter United Church and Gor-
