JOE WALKER 3$7-35$8 Rally Day service was held at Bluevale United Church on Sunday, Oct. 11 under the direction of Sunday School superintendent Doug Stam- per. Maragaret Dane of the Quilt Committee reported the quilt as a winner at the Howick Fall Fair. PERSONALS Bruce Grainger of Mon- treal, Que. spent the week- end with Mrs. Cecil Grainger and visited Cecil Grainger in Listowel Memorial Hospital.. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Mun- dell visited Rev. and Mrs. W.A. Henderson in Wood- stock last week. On Monday, Mrs. Mundell attended. the Board meeting of the Hamil- ton and London Synodical of Obituary MRS. FRED MISHAW Mrs. Fred Mishaw died in Burlington . on Monday, Oetober5 in her 83rd year. She was the former Laura Turvey. Surviving are one daugh- ter, Lois Hanley Of Burling- ton, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Mrs. Maytne Turvey of, Huronview, Clin- ton. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Mishaw and three sons, a brother Roy Ttirvey of Brussels and a sister Stella Turvey of Tor- onto. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Scott attended the 25th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday of a former neighbour, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Brown of Ce- darville. Mrs. Edward Bolander Milford Prouty played a tape of Larry Prouty with some of his poetry, and this was followed by a.,‘Aniz by Mil ford Prouty. On Friday Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Mur- phy and Mr. Birks Robertson of Teeswater visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Edgar and Mrs. Glad. Edgar. Sympathy is expressed to the families of Edward Grigg, Richmtind (Dick) Atkey and Stanley Wilson. Huron would like to wel- come Mr. William Marshall from Exeter. Bill is now living in Normal Care. Tuesday, Oct. 13. Eleven mothers enjoyed coffee and a, social hour while their four- teen children got to know each other better. Any mothers of small children in the area are invited to the. next meeting which will be held Nov. 10 at the home of Alice Massey. (Corner of centre sideroad and second line of Morris.) Five tables of euchre were played October 14 in the Bluevale Community Hall, sponsored by the Recreation Association. High prizes were won by Winnie Boyd and Joe Walker.
