Direct
dialing in
Brussels
As of October 15, Bell
telephone customers on in-
dividual and two party lines
in the Brussels exchange will
be getting the long distance
direct dialing system, but as
some of the equipment may
not be fully operational by
that date some customers
may find that for a few days
they will still be asked their
number by the operator.
It makes no difference in
the rates that will be
changed and only applies to
individual and two party
lines. All four party custom-
er's will still be asked for
their phone numbers.
