Obitu ary Area weddings
COX--SCHNEIDER
Nancy Isabel Schneider, daughter of Violet. Schneider
and the late Gordon Schneider of Davidson Ave, south,
Listowel and Larry Robert Cox of Kitchener, son of Jack and
Dorothy Cox of R.R, 3 Brussels, were married Saturday
August 8, at 2:30 p.m. in Calvary United Church, Listowel,
with Rev. Rae Grant officiating.
Organist for the wedding was Mrs. Gerald Fagan of
London. Leslie Fagan of London sang Wedding Prayer and
Walk Hand in Hand.
Mrs. Jane Bradley of Listowel was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Dianne Cox of R.R. 3 Brussels, sister of
the groom, and Mrs. Larry Schneider of Chapleau,
sister-in-law of the bride. All wore full-length gowns of
pastel yellow styled with blouson bodices with lace yokes
and carried bouquets of daisies, yellow carnations and
baby's breath.
Ken Cox of St. Catherines was his brother's best man
while Don Anderson of Kitchener and Larry Schneider of
Chapleau, brother of the bride, ushered the guests.
Following the ceremony, a wedding reception was held at
the Elma Community Centre in Atwood.
The couple honeymooned in Algonquin Park and
Montreal. They are residing in Kitchener.
OLDRIDGE-SCHEFTER
Ushers at the wedding of Betty Anne Schefter and Brian
Peter Oldridge were: Gary Souch of R.R. 2, Blyth, friend of
the groom; Ernie Harris of Washego, uncle of the groom
and Brad Langford of R.R. 4, Ingersoll, cousin of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar
Schef ter of R.R. 4 Wingham and Mr. and Mrs. James P.
Oldridge of R.R. 2 Blyth are the groom's parents.
