Freiburger, Mary and Kevin of R.R. 3, Walkerton, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Timm of Bluevale and grandson Michael Timm visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. Joe Simmons. Mary and Kevin Freiburger re- mained for a longer visit with their grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Taylor of Wingham, Mr. and. Mrs. Fred Humbly of Listowel, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Ford of Alliston, Mr. and Mrs. Reg Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. James Bissett, all of Kitchener visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Taylor. Miss Kim Pehlke of Monk- ton is holidaying with her grandparents at the same home. John Everitt of Thunder Bay is visiting at the home of his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Martin Scott. John had recently attended the Canad- ian Scout Jamboree at Banff, Alberta. Mr. and Mrs. William A. Smith spent the weekend at the home of Mr and Mrs. Leslie Fleming R.R. 1, Neu- stadt. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Murphy of London spent the weekend with Mrs. Glad- stone Edgar and called on Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Ed- gar, Mr. Robert Grainger of Waterloo, Mrs. Cecil Grain- ger of Listowel Hospital, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Howes and Lance of Peterborough visit- ed Saturday with Mrs. Cecil Grainger. Mr. Wellesley Strong is a patient in Wingham Hospit- al. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Miller and Vikki Jo, Kevin and Krista of Sudbury are spend- ing a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Archie Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Bev Brears of R.R. 3, Palmerston. The Stephens family gath- ered at the home of Mr. anti Mrs. Alvin Grainger on Sat- urday. Among those attend- ing were Mr. and Mrs. James Stephens, Mark and Todd of Listowel, Mrs. Mer- vin Stephens. of Goderich, Mrs. Bruce Lanktree, Sarah and Andrew of Cambridge, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Stephens of Kitchener, Mr and Mrs. Michael Grainger and Bron- wen of Waterloo, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Grainger and Christopher of Shakespeare, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wil- liams and Chet of R.R. I, Listowel, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stevens, Kim and Keri of Bramalea and Mrs. A, L. Stephens. Vicky, Tammy and Cindy Leppington of Fordwich are visiting a few days with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leppington. Mrs. Robert Allan, Mark and Jamie of Kitchener are visiting, Mrs. John Strong for a few days. Mrs. James Sanderson of Brussels and mrs, Archie Miller have returned, from a Canadian and American West. Golden Age travel tour to the west coast. Mr. and Mrs. Melville Dennis attended a family' reunion at the home of Mrs. Frances Lewis in Kitchener on Sunday. The gathering was held to mark their ap- proaching 54th wedding an- niversary on. August 3 as well as three family birth- days and wedding anniver- saries of two grandsons all taking place in late July. Mr. and Mrs.. Simon Mar- iniffen of New Market visit- ed Sunday with Mr. Peter Jorrissen, Peter Miller of Georgetown also spent a week at the same home. Mrs. Harvey Adams at- tended the family gathering at Sauble Beach on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Earle King and Colleen of Harris- ton, Mr. and Mrs. William Knox, Kevin, Kerri and Lori of Owen Sound, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas King and Rachel of Fordwich, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown and Mrs, Cameron Winners in the field crop competitions for the Brussels fair include the following names with their points: In barley the winners are: JackCardiff 98, Les Knight 971/2, Clare Weitch 97, Ross.
