A dinner and dance was held. July 25, at the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre for all those persons who had purchased a Bel- grave and District Kinsmen Lottery Tickets. About 420 people were in attendance. Ross Procter was master of ceremonies for the evening. Following is the list of all Lottery winners from August 1980 to July 25, 1981. Early bird Draws were: Andrew Manson of London $300, Lynn Hoy, Wingham, $200, Steven and Randy Nix- on of Belgrave $100. The $1,000 draw winners were Raymond Murkley of Wingham, Dr. Alex Strong and Dr. Stewart Leedham, Wingham, John Hamilton, Lucknow, Robert Arbuckle, Correspondence MRS. MAC ENGEL 887-6645 The usual morning service will be held at 9:45 on Sunday, August 2, following holidays in July. Frank Hunter, Oshawa, spent several days with Ida Gordon. Mrs. John Saxon, Laura and Eddie, spent the past week with relatives in Mark- ham. Harold SMalldon, Brus- sels, his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Cooper, Ottawa, visited Ms. Mac Engel and Mrs. Claire Long, Brussels. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bor- deal and children, Wartburg and Mr. and Mrs. 'inea Jaigens and son Jan, Hol- land, were Sunday visitors with Mr. and MrS. John Vanass and family. Mary MacDonald, Toronto, spent the weekend with her family in Cranbrook. Jack Knight spent a week at home but will return to Stratford hospital, where he has been confined since his accident. Earl Dunn has been a patient in Stratford hospital since July 16 and underwent Brussels lawn bowling • • A most enjoyable after- noon was spent at the greens July 25 when a tournament of trebles was held. 60 players entered for the three 12 end games. Supper was served follow- ing the second game. ALBUM PRESENTATION Following the Band Con- cert, Sunday evening at Har- bour Park, Goderich, Sharon Paton of Paisley, Scotland, was the proud recipient of an album produced by the Mount Forest Cameron. Highlanders who were pro- viding the music for this concert. Jennifer Vanass, daughter of John and Nancy Vanass was in the War Memorial Hospital, London, for several days recently. Mr. and Mrs. Sid Barnes, London, spent the weekend with Ida Gordon. Miss Paton is at present a summer guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Proc- ter of R.R. 5 Brussels. VISITORS Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Vin- cent of Oakville were week- end visitors with Mrs. Cliff Logan and Mr. and Mrs, Harold Vincent. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Logan Kevin, and Trevor of Wyo- ming spent the weekenlwith their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George McGee and MRs. Cliff Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Barry Logan, Michael and Shawn of Burlington spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy McKay of Wingham.. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thomp- on of East Brunswick, New York spent the past weekend with Ethel Wheeler and visi- ted with other friends. Mr. and Mrs. Bert John- ston and Violet Whitfield attended the 25th wedding anniversary dinner of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Watson of Blyth j Saturday evening at the Triple K, Blyth. Dr, and Mrs. Charles Myers of Saskatoon, Sask, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Johnston, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. George Gib- son, 'prima Edgar of Wing- ham, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnston of Blyth, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Stonehouse were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allister Green of Goderich on Sunday evening and all attended the Mount Forest Band Concert in Har- bour Park, Goderich. Many Belgrave families have enjoyed wagon rides given by Sam Pletch and his fine team of Belgians. Jennifer Procter, Patricia Daer, Marion Dow and. Tom Cull are attending Camp Menesetung near Goderich. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Fitch of R.R. 1 Wroxeter were dinner guests Sunday with their cousin Mrs. Leslie Bolt. On Sunday morning Rev. John G. Roberts of Knox United Church, Belgrave, dedicated the recently pur- chased choir gowns, That the gowns be used not for personal adoration but to the glory of God was the minister's supplication. A birthday party was held at the home of Margaret Brewer of R.R. 4 Wingham July 25 in honour of her uncle Mr. Percy Vincent of London who was celebrating his 90th birthday that'day. Sixty relatives inclnding newphews and nieces great nephews and nieces and great-great newphews and three great-great-great ne- phews and also other friends attended.
