Work starts on
Grey history
Students have already be-
gun work on the history of
Grey township in honour of
its 125th year in existence.
They started work last
Monday and went over the
whole township with the 1879
atlas finding out about
churches, cemeteries, saw.
mills and started in at some
of the village. They have also
gone through a lot of records
for the township office that
pertain to those areas.
The students are also
going through the Twee, d-
smuir books to investigate
the various places in Grey.
Supervisor Marilyn Eng el
says the students have got a
good start and will also be
doing interviews and that
basically the history is only
as good as what people give
them, so any co-operation
would be appreciated.
