(Photo by Ranney) THE BRUSSELS POST, JULY 1, 1981 — A3 GREY s CENTRAL GRADUATES Graduation exercises for the Grade 8 class of Grey Central School in Ethel were held last Tuesday night. In the front row from left are David Demaray, Roger Lichti, Cindy Hayden, Denise Smith, Patty Smith and David Brown. In the second row are Rhonda Barlow, Darwin Baillie, Rick Knight, Doug Beirnes, Susie Burt, Maria Menzies and Judy Engel. Rick Knight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Les Knight of R.R. 3 Brussels attained the high- est score of any elementary school student in Huron County in the GAUSS Math Contest. Rick was a Grade 8 student at Grey Central School in Ethel. Other Grey Central students winning awards in the math contest were Dian- ne Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cox of R.R. 3 Brussels, who got sixth and David Demeray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Demeray of R.R. 2 Bluevale. who got seventh. About 230 in the county wrote the test and the top 10 were honoured.
