Brussels Stockyard Report
I wish to take this opportunity to say thank you to all those people who
took the time to send cards, letters, flowers, fruit, candy, books,
magazines, lottery tickets, models, crafts, tapes, clothing, and also
drove to London to visit me while a patient in University Hospital.
Thank you also to the Brussels Lions Club, the Brussels Midgets, the
Men's Industrial Ball League, the United Church Women, the English
class, and the schoolmates on Ross' bus for their gifts. Special thanks
to those people who also sent money for enjoyable treats while in the
hospital. A sincere thank you to Joan Huether, Michelle McCutcheon,
Jim and Rhea Valiance for accommodations in London for mom and
dad.
Thanks to Drs. Ferguson, Bourne and Cameron and the excellent care
by the nurses on 10th, 7th and 4th floors of University Hospital. The
kindnesses shown me were deeply appreciated and will not be
forgotten.
