Health Week in Canada— Stress, in this
modern world, is felt in some degree by
everyone. It can be controlled and need not

The way to and from school might
become an adventure trail for children if
they are left to choose the route says the
Canada Safety Council. It is up to parents to
select the safest route for a child to take to
school Explain to children why that route
was chosen and why they must stay on it.
Children will obey more readily if a reason is
given. This, May 1st - 7th is Child Salley
Week. The "theme," this year is Safety in
the School Enviromnent. Teach children the
pedestrian safety basics.

What terrible storms certain areas in
the U.S. have suffered recently: They left
death and destruction in their wake. Many
were homeless after the storms passing.
When nature goes on a ramp age disaster all
too frequently accompanies it, be it tornado
winds; torrential rain, earthquakes; snow,
tire ice or electrical disturbances. 1-10‘‘
fortunate we have been here to have escaped
the worst of such rumblings of nature.
