The meeting opened with the "Ode" and "Mary Ste- wart Collect." The members paid their dues and answered the roll call by telling how they overcome the monotony of housework. Members were invited to participate in Be'grave's 70th Anniversary on May 19th. An invitation was re- ceived from Ethel W.I. to attend an evening on "tastes of the Wild" on May 20th. A bus from Wingham will be touring to -Swain's Green- houses, West Lorne and Tender Tootsies, Glencoe on May 11th. 4-H Achievement Day will be held May 4 at 7 p.m. in Howick school. It was decid- ed'to attend a play in Blyth again this summer. Representatives were cho- sen to attend the District Annual being held in Blue- vale on May 15th. They are Mrs. Bert Garniss, Mrs. William Peacock, Mrs. Wen- dell Stamper with mrs. Jack Nicholson and Mrs. Don Street as alternatives. Plans for hosting the annual were finalized. Lunch was served by Mrs. Dorothy Street, Mrs. Torn Donn and Mrs. Bert Garniss. The annual meeting fol- lowed with re] oils given by convenors of standing com- mittees. An active year and a good financial balance were reported. Mrs. Barton of Penticton, grandmother, was at the service and all visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stan- ley Fischer. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Play- ford and daughters Cindy, Sherri, and Debbie, Thorold, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mitchell. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Starr and Kelly, Alliston, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Don Cotton. Organist Michelle McCutcheon of Brussels accompanied the soloist Julie McCall, also of Brussels who sang "You Needed Mc" and "Rose". The maid of honour was Gloria White of Brussels, sister o f the bride. Bridal attendants included Donna Aitchison of Brussels, Ro- bins Semple of Milverton, Mrs. Kevin Galbraith of R.R. Rev. Wittich conducted the Sunday morning service with Mrs. Elsie Henderson at the organ. The choir sang the anthem Each Step I Take. Lorne Lawson, Wilson Mc-. Cartney, Stan Hillen assisted Marie Flynn to provide Old Tyme Music on Monday afternoon. We have had quite a few orders for Easter rabbits and the ceramic class were work- ing on these on Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Broadfoot conducted a 1, Atwood, and Joan McArter of Brussels. Kevin Semple of R.R.1, Ethel was his brother's best man. Londesboro W.I. helped all residents with birthdays in the month of April cele- brate. We had an excellent programine with Mrs. Alice Buchanan who is president of the W.I. acting as M.C. Mrs. Radford accompanied Jim McCall while he played several selections on the violin. A familiar face to the residents was Rev.
