Brussels Tradefest was a success again
this year and according to Henry Exel,
vice-chairman of the Ways and Means
Committee, the overall attendance was
better than last year.
There were 47 exhibitors at this year's
Tradefest and although attendance was slow
on Thursday, the crowds on Friday were
larger than the ones who attended on the
Friday of last year's Tradefest. Saturday's
total however was lower than last year's.
He said any businesses he had talked to
were quite pleased. He said the Tradefest
won't be held on Easter weekend again

The Lions Tradefest is over. JOging by
comments heard it was a successful event.

last year. A greater number attended to take
--•a• look at what this area has to-offer in
everything from building mateilals and
house • furnishings, to antique 6'r s and
cosmetics were on display. Some baby
chicks, cheeping away in their wired
enclosure intrigued the young fry. Congratu-
lations are due to the Lions Club, the
exhibitions, those who contributed prizes for
the various draws and all others who
participated in any way. This remark, heard
on a number of occasions, sums it all up "It
was quite an accomplishment for a place the
size of Brussels to hold such an event and
make it a successful affair.to

themselves because they couldn't get 'people
to demonstrate products on that weekend.

he was very happy with the Tradefest which
had a crowd estimated at 2000 attending
over three days. He noted that the dance on

had were the kids running at large.
