GHOST VISITS HOWICK
Howick Central School
was pleased to host Mr.
Charles Hayter on Thursday,
March 19. Mr. Hayter is a
professional actor who pre-
sented an exquisite show of
wit and expertise. He recited
the fabulous poetry of Robert
Service. Mr; Hayter acted as
the ghost of Robert Service
and was quite believable.
He was dressed from his
old time suit right down to
his Scottish accent. He re-
cited seven rhymes such as
"The Cremation of Sam
McGee", "The Shooting of
Dan McGrew" and "Teddy
Bear", Most of his poems
were about happenings in
the Yukon. All grades 6, 7
and 8 students enjoyed this
and were pleased to see him
come.
