Edith Wey led in the respon-
sive reading. The children's
story was "Fellow workers
with God" and their special
hymn, "He's got the whole
world in his hands".
Rev. Charles A. Swan
completed his fourth and
final sermon on "The Lord is
my Shepherd". The official
monthly board will meet on
Sunday evening.
Next Sunday morning will
be the reception of new
members at a confirmation
service. Karen Caldwell and
Valerie Wasson of Blyth will
sing a duet accompanying
with their guitars.
The Walton Youth Group
along with Londesboro met
with the Blyth Youth Group
for a social evening on Mon-
day, March 30. They are
scheduling an evening of
bowling next Sunday evening
at Seaforth.
Annie Reid. Edith Wcy,
Viola Kirkby and Rev. Char-
les A. Swan attended a
workshop on Global Justice
at St. John's United Church
on Saturday.
The unit meetings are
scheduled for this week, the
8th and 16th will hold their
monthly meeting at the
manse this Wednesday eve-
ning ; with guests Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Bryans presenting
pictures of their recent trip to
Africa.
The U.C.W. has accepted
an invitation from the Brus-
sels United Church to the
U.C,W. Thankoffering Sun-
day at 8 p.m. with both men
& women welcome.. The
Bryans will show pictures of
their trip to Africa.
Walton U.C.W. will be
invited to the Fall Thankof-
feting service at Blyth United
Church, as they could. not
attend this Sunday, with both
services on the same date.

Walton I "The Tricky
Tailors" met recently at the
home of Dorothy Sholdice.
The girls were shown how
to hem their finished skirt
with tape. The ones making
vests were shown how the
sides had to he sewn up by
hand and the quilted ones
were finished with bias tape.
Plans have been made for
Achievement Day, May 25 at
Seaforth Public School A
demonstration will be put on
by the club girls on the Art of
Pressing by Christine Ncle-
mans and Joyannc Van Vliet.
A work meeting was held
last Monday evening when
the leaders, Margaret Short-
reed and Dorothy Sholdice
helped with any problems
with garments they arc mak-
ing and record books. There
is another meeting this Mon-
day to complete this project,

hospital as the result of a fall
while repairing a barn on
Tuesday. The people of Ethel
here on. March 26. The Gillis'
moved to their new home on
the 16th of Grey Twp.
Misses Patricia Hackwell,
and Community wish him a
speedy recovery.
A week ago last Saturday'
was a big day at the Keys
Sugar Bush, where the Ethel
W.I. served pancakes and
sausages.
