POST, APRIL 8, 1981 *41 Hydro off Some Brussels residents suffered a loss of hydro Friday afternoon after a tree cut down on Jack McCu- tcheon's lot behind the Ang- lican church fell a different way than expected--right on top of some hydro wires. The man cutting the tree didn't realize that it was split at the bottom. The tree falling on the hydro wires put two) phases out leaving a lot of the southwest part of town with- out hydro. Some of the rural areas were also without hydro be- cause hydro at the feeder station a mile and a quarter south of Brussels was also kicked out. Ontario Hydro had to be called in to fix that. Hydro was off from ap- proximately 1:40 to 5 p.m. ELECTROHOME . an extra degree of excellence Atwood 20" Color TV TREE CUTS OFF HYDRO — It caused a few moments of excitement in the village when this tree on Jack McCutcheon's lot behind the Anglican Church fell on top of some hydro wires leaving most of the residents in the southwest corner of the village without hydro for about three hours.
