Duff's United Church, Walton \Vas the setting for the
marriage of Janet Marie Heibein and Wilmer Douglas
Mitchell on Feb. 28, in a double ring ceremony with Rev,
Charles A. Swan officiating and Mrs. Margery Huether
organist. Janet is- the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Heihein and Doug is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emerson
Mitchell. Miss June Bremner, friend of the bride was
maid of honour. Douglas Cousins was best man. A
reception was held at the Brussels Inn for the immediate
family. The couple will reside in Brussels where Doug is
apprer ;,:ing for auto body repair.

former Florence Machan,
widow of the late Clancy
Flood, passed away in Clint-
on. Public Hospital on Satur-
day, March 28„ 1981 in her
83rd year. Surviving are -one
daughter Thelma. Mrs.
Ralph Keifer of RR2. Blue-
vale and one son. William T,
Flood or Mitchell, six grand-
children, 14 great grand-
children and one great great
grandchild; also, two sisters,
Cynthia, Mrs. Ellwood ill-
man ofListowel and Bettie,
Mrs. Elmer Hood of RR3,
Monkton; four brothers,
William Machan, Ethel; Ed-
ward Machan of Listowel;
Kenneth Machan of Harris-
ton and Cecil Machan of
Mount Forest. Predeceased
by her parents, the late Mr,
and Mrs. Henry Macham
one daughter,. Verna
Mt:Nicht* one sister, Bea,
trice Wells and one brother
Lloyd Machan.

Flood rested at the Peebles
Funeral Home, . Atwood
where service and committal
were held on Tuesday,
March 31 at 2 p.m. with. Rev.
Pletsch officiating, Interment
in Brussels Cemetery.
WILFRED F. FiscHER
Wilfred Karl Fischer of
Brussels passed away in
Listowel Hospital on Thurs-
day, March 26th, after a
lengthy illness. He was 76
.years of age.
Born in Grey Township he
was the son of the late John
Fischer and Etta Smalldon.
He farmed in Grey Township
until retiring in Brussels in
1970.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Ethel Ward; five
daughters, Goldic, Betty,
Maxine, Shirley and Sharon;
three sons, Ivan, Roy and
Gerald; !'h e brothers, John,
Bill, George, Charlie and.
Ken and two sisters, Elsie
(Mrs. Roy Thuell) and Velma
(Mrs„ Elmer Ellacott),
He was predeceased by his
parents and four grand-
children,
Funeral service was held
on Saturday, March 28, 1981
at the M.L. Watts Brussels
Chapel at 2;00 p.m.; con-
ducted by Rev. Dan Sargent
of St. John's Anglican
Church. Burial in Brussels
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were; Waren
and Bruce Knight, Jeff and
Jim Wicks, Randy Fischer
and Doug Stevenson.
