team 6-5. This now tics the
series two game each with
the fifth game in Smithville
on Friday, March 13. Scoring

with assists going to Dean
Rutledge, Rob Cardiff. Paul

The Brussels Midgets
were at home to Wainfleet on
Friday, March 6 only to skate
to a 1 to 1 tie after one period
of overtime. Scoring for
Brussels was Kevin Wheeler
with an assist going to Pete
Bennett. The midgets re-
turned to Wainfleet on Sun-
day to play the second game
of the series with Wainfleet
winning 6-2. Scoring for
Brussels were Steven Knight
with 2 goals assisted by
Kevin Wheeler, Pete Ben-
nett, Todd Wheeler and
Klevbri Diener.

On Tuesday March 2, the
Milverton Novice were at
Brussels for the second game
in the best 3 out of 5 with
Milverton up one game.

in the first game. Goals were
scored by Greg Wheeler 2;

going to Ron Stevens, Shawn
Jacklin and Andrew
McCutcheon.
They then played Teeswater
only to be defeated. Goal-
scorers were Steven Fritz 1;
and Steven McCutcheon, 2
assisted by Scot Bremner.
The Atoms played on
Wednesday March 4 in Brus-
sels against Lucknow in the
second game in the best 2 out
of 3 to defeat the Lucknow
team 3-1. This put Lucknow
out of the play-off. Brussels
now play against Teeswater
for the W.O.A.A. "DD"
championship. Goal scorers
were Jeff Earl, with assists
going to Rodney Nicholson
and Bruce Johnston; Dean
Nicholson with assists going

p.m. versus Teeswater.

tournament which gets un-
derway this weekend on
March 14 and 15 and con-
tinues next weekend, March
21 and 22.
Although there were only
26 teams participating in the
tournament last year, this
year there will be 32 teams.
There were 38 teams that
sent in entries.

supply of cattle at steady
prices. There were 1088
cattle and 1421 pigs on offer.
Choice Steers - 77.00 to
80.00 with sales to 82.25.
Good Steers - 74.00 to 77.00.

weighing 1140 lbs. sold for
82.25 with his lot of 7 steers
averaging 1164 lbs. selling
