this year with all five ices
filled in both draws,
A lunch was served at
noon by the Brussels Ladies
Curlers. Following the three
six:end games of curling a
smorgasbord banquet was
catered by the B,M.G. cater-
ing group.
Dancing to records and a
sing-song around the piano
ended the enjoyable day.
Winners of a special draw
were BonnieTaylor and Ernie
Lewington. All teams won
prizes. Top winner of the day
was Bob Alexander's team
with 46% points. Hugh Pear-
son skipped with Donelda
Pearson as vice; Bob Alexan-
der- second and Joyce Al-
exander- lead. Their names
will be engraved on the large
trophy.
It may be of interest to
note that they got a seven-
ender in their first game,
something that is fairly rare.
Second prize on the 10:30
draw and very close to top
was Stewart Steiss's team
with 48 1/4 points. Other
members of his team were
Madeline Steiss, Doug Ward
and Liz Ward.
The 9:00 draw was won by
