Sunday School has good year
The Annual Sunday School
Meeting of Knox United.
Church, Belgrave was held
Tuesday evening January
20th in the Sunday School
room with seven members
present. The meeting was
chaired by Superintendent
George Procter.
Rev. John G. Roberts
opened the meeting with
prayer. Paul McKee's secre-
tary's report showed that
Sunday School was held 44
Sundays with an average
attendance of 45.3 The treas-
urer's report showed a suc-
cessful financial year.

at the home of Mrs. Peter
Chandler January 21. The
worship theme was "Tal-
ents" and the duty to use
them by Mrs. Donald Dow.
Mrs. George McGee accom-
panied on the piano. Mrs.
McGee also read the scrip-
ture and Mrs. Donald Dow
the meditation. "Doing our
nuty" and Mrs. Ronald
amieson led in prayer.

Course to
discuss farm
leases
A one day course will be
offered at Centralia College
on Thursday, February 5th to
discuss leasing arrange-
ments for farmers. The a-
genda will include crop shar-
ing, cash land leases, mach-
inery leasing, share milking
and other forms of flexible
lease arrangements. The
course is aimed at those
getting started in farming or
farmers whose business is
empanding.

ember 30 to work in Sudan,
Africa for the winter months.
He is employed by Viking
Helicopters of Ottawa which
is under contract with a U.S.
Oil Company, doing graphic
survey work.
Mr. and Mrs. William
Coultes received word on
Saturday of the sudden pass-
ing of her uncle Mr. Austin
Timmons of Woodstock.
Mr. and Mrs. Clare Van
Camp and Mr. and Mrs. Alex
Nethery visited on Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Hibberd at Chateau Gardens
Hanover and were supper
guests of Mr. and Mrs.
David Ireland and Rodney of
Teeswater; Denise and An-
gela Nethery also visited at
the Ireland home.
Mr. and Mrs. Jas. R.
Coultes spent the week-
end with Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Taylor, Erica and
Monica of Alliston.

was held in the W.I. Hall on
Wednesday evening January
