Out of town bonspiels
initiate return visits
On Thursday, January 7, a
Brussels team travelled to
Mitchell for a curling bon-
spiel. The skip was Ross
Veitch; vice- Les Knight,
second-, Murray Fischer and
lead- Bob Alexander.
Another bonspiel, was at-
tended in Listowel on Satur-
day, January 10, by the rink
of Dan and Mary Jane Pear-
Robbie Cardiff and Paul
Machan attended Toc-Alphi
as delegates of the General
Brussels, United Church
Women from December 27-
30 at the Holiday Inn, Hamil-
ton.
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander
Gulutzen and their three
children were supper guest

Van Keulen. While they
didn't win any prizes, they
enjoyed their day away curl-
ing.

The winners of Monday
night curling for January 12
were the rinks of Murray
Huether, John Byers, Russ
Veitch, Ross Cunningham,
Les Knight, Stewart Steiss,
Brad Speiran, Ernie Lewing-
ton, Jim Patterson and Bob
Alexander.
The last two games should
be exciting and worth watch-
ing. There is a viewing area
upstairs for anyone wishing
to observe. All are welcome.
The ladies' afternoon curl-
ing saw some close, games.
Yvonne Knight, Nora Ste-
phenion and Joyce Alexan-
der were the winning skips
for January 13.
