Mrs. Luther held a service in the evening. Stan Hillen, Wilson McCartney, Warren Whitmore, Lorne Lawson joined with Marie Flynn to provide Old Tyme Music on Monday afternoon. The van had to take Les Fortune to London for an appointment so we took advantage of the trip and Irvin Trewartha, Grace Peck, Muriel Gibson, Verda Beck- ler, Elsie Henderson and Mabel Garrow did some shopping at the London mall. Mark Sproat stopped over at the Hensall Nursing Nom e to visit his sister. Tuesday afternoon the Anglicans held communion in the chapel. Rev. Broadfoot conducted the service. Day Care invited all senior citizens in the area and living at Huronview to their 99c movie called My Man God- frey. Residents on first Floor North had a good time on Wendesday afternoon play- ing the rhythm bandinstru- ments in time to the music from our stkreo. There was an important meeting Monday afternoon to discuss the forming of a Residents Coun- cil. There are still a few copies of the bulletin the Huronview News at the tuck shop and anyone who is interested in procuring a copy is invited to do so. NOTICE Brussels Public Utilities Commission . Mr. and Mrs. John Plank and Jennifer of London spent a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elschner. Mr. and Mrs. Neil McDonald, Heather and Craig of Brussels visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Dick Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Fraser Lynn of Listowel visited Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Edgar. Mr. Gordon Adams underwent hip surgery at Victoria Hospital in London. Miss Isobelle Gray of Windsor University, Miss. Linda Gray of Guelph University and Mr. Douglas Gray of Royal Military College Kingston spent the holidays with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Gray, Con. 2 Howick, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Orth and Adam of Kirkland Lake spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Everett Zurbrigg R.R. 2, Gorrie. Mr. and Mrs. Simon Marissen of Newmarkett Mr. and Mrs., Archie Miller, Peter and Tammy of Georgetown; Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Dweiater and family, Actontwere recent visitors of Mr. Peter Jorissen. APPOINT MEMBERS Members to represent the various boards in Howick Township for one year or term have been appointed by Howick Council. Reeve Harold Robinson will serve on the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority and will also serve on the Pioneer Parks board with Councillor William Newton. Councillor Newton will also be a member of the Wingham Hospital board. Councillor Stuart Douglas will serve on the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority as well as being the Live stock and Poultry evaluator. The Gorrie Livestock Auction Centre will continue as the animal pound keeper. Deputy Reeve John Stafford will, serve as Tile drain inspector and sit on the Wingham Area Fire Board. Councillor Gerald D'Arcey and Robert Strong will represent Howick Twp. in the Huron County Farm Safety Association. Leroy Dettman will serve on the Clifford Community Centre board. The fence viewers will be Lorne Robinson, John Ferguson, Bruce Krellar, John Jacques, Harry Winkle and Stewart Rowley. The Gorrie Parks board will include William Doig. Murray Latronico, Irwin Stone, Jerry DeJonge, Brian Underwood, David Neilson and Robert Gibson. The Fordwich Hall Board will consist of John Wilson, Clarence Carswell, David Dinsmore, James Robinson, Gerald D'Arcey , William Newton and Leo Ruttan. The Fordwich Park Boards will include Florence D'Arcey, Fred McCann, John Wilson, Anson Ruttan, Freda Klaassen, Gerald D'Arcey and William Long. On the Wroxeter 'Hall Board will be Jack Clarke, Mildred Coupland, Bruce Chambers, Gordon Kaste, Ed. Walker, John St,:.afford, and Harold Robinson. The Wroxeter Parks board will comprise Gary Chambers, Mike Newton, Cameron Edgar, Keith Small, George Hamilton, Jack Clarke, Gordon Hislop and F loyd Allan. The Belmore Community Centre board will consist of Graham Wright, Thos. Inglis, Dennis O'Malley, Donald Eadie, Rodney Wright, Mary Eadie, Walter Renwick, Rosa Chambers, John Stafford and Stuart Douglas. .E.
