Some people in Belgrave
have been advised to boil
their water as the result of
contamination in the system,
it was reported in a Morris
Township council story last
week.
Bill Hutchinson, environ-
mental engineering officer at
the Ministry of the Environ-
ment in Owen Sound, said
that at the time the system
was inspected, the owner of
the works talked of putting
on disinfection equipment.
He was advised by one of the
Ministry's Personnel of the
cost of putting chlorination
in the system.
Mr. Hutchinson said the
water system is suitable and
as far as the ministry knows
there is no obvious source of
contamination. He said they
have collected samples of the
water but will have to wait ,
until the chemical results
come back.

unthinkable, however", is for Canadians to
make a big deal of their petty hardships
When they don't know what the word
harship means: . We live in the lap of luxury
and we must realize it. We should do what
we can to help those that are' less fortunate
Surely, but first of all we should simply
realize how fortunate we are by taking, a
look at how the other three-quarters of the
world lives.
