He was born in Morris Township, son of the' late Hugh Anson Shaw and Mary Ann Forrest and was married to the former Pearl Carno- chan who survives him. He farmed in Morris Township until his retirement and was a member of the Melville Presbyterian Church, Brus- sels. Surviving are three sons, John and Jim of Bluevale and Harvey of Brussels and two daughters, ,Dorothy (Mrs. Jim Thompson) of Bluevale and Edith (Mrs. John Pipe) of Brussels. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grand- daughter and two brothers, Frank and Ralph.
