Joan Cardiff, Brenda Richmond picked up 3 assists while Joanne Knight and Joan Cardiff got singles. This coming Tuesday night will• find the girls at home to Listowel at 7:30 p,m. There are no scheduled minor hockey games over the holiday season unless some cancelled games can be worked in. The arena will be singing a song to our dear friends fora iarmonious heaenly holiday. They hosted the Seafordh:squad and beat them 5-2, Steven Fritz and Andrew McCutcheon shared the scor, ing honours with 2 goals each unassisted, with Peter Mac- Donald scoring a single as- sisted by Greg Wheeler. On Saturday, the 'Peewee and Bantam teams 'travelled to Clinton to play hockey and lost both games • in close contests. The Peewees were defeated by a 6-4 score. Brussels goal scorers were Marty Rutledge with 2 goals and Dean and David Wheeler scored 1 each.. Assists went to Paul Koetsier, Rob Zim- mer, Dean Wheeler, David Wheeler and Marty Rutledge. The Bantams were defeat- ed 8-7 in their hockey game. Leading tne Brussels squad was Darren Watts with 3. goals with singles going to Rob Cardiff, Dean Rutledge, David Cossitt and Paul Machau. Assits went to Dav- •id Cossitt, Tim Fritz and Rob Cardiff. On Monday night, the same Bantam team travelled to Mitchell and picked up a 5-4 win for their work. Dar? ren Watts scored four times to lead the Brussels squad with. it ab Cardiff getting the single. Assists went to Doug Shaw, Tim Fritz, Darren Watts, Kevin McArter and Rob Cardiff. Last Tuesday found the Midget team travelling to Monkton to play Elma•logan They scored an 8-2 win. Scoring for Brussels was Tod Wheeler with 3 goals, Kevin, Deitner 3, and Doug McArter 411d Rob Roneschansker with 1 each. Assists, went to Kevin Deitner and Todd Wheeler. This past Wednesday night, the Midgets were at home to Clinton and scored a ' 10-1 victory over their visit- ors. Scoring for Brussels was Kevin Deitner with 4 goals, Steve Knight 2, Doug. McArt- er 2., and Tod Wheeler 2, Assists Went to Peter Ben- nett, Kevin, Wheeler, Bruce Boneschansker, Kevin Deit- ner, Steve Knight, Doug McArter and Todd Wheeler. RINGETT SCORES The girls' Ringette team has been busy in the last week and a half. Last Tues- day night, they were at home to Howick and /ere defeated 11-2. Brussels two goals were scored by Joanne Knight unassisted and Jill McCutcheon from Darlene Bishop. and Greetings to all and continued good sports in the New Year.
