This story takes place at
the Northpole at Santa's
workshop. The story, is about
one Christmas . when Santa
was late for Christmas Eve.
This 'is what happened.' '
One tbristmas Eve Santa
explained to his wife, "I'm
going to have a little nap
before I go on my trip".
"Will you wake me up before
twelve o'clock please?".
"But I'm going to sleep for
an hour", frowned his wife.
"Oh, Who can wake me
up?" , cried Santa "Why
don't you ask one of your
elves Santa" asked his wife.
"That's it". shouted Santa.
"Oh but how can I get one if
they've all gone on
holidays?" screamed' Santa
as he was pulling his hair.
".0.K. I guess wake you •
up" sighed his wife. But she
did riot get him up because
she fell asleep reading. Podi•
Santa all of a sudden the
clock struck eleven then
Santa woke up and shouted.
"I'll be late for Christmas
Eve" and he got dressed and
said to his wife. "Why didn't
you get me up?" he scream-
ed. "I don't have time to
fight now" said he and off he
went. As hp went he stopped
at each 'house to fill each
stocking and ate all his
snacks and off again.
When he got home he was
in a bad mood.'"I'in home"
he grunted. 'Now how come
you didn't wake me up?"
Well I accidently fell a=
sleep reading a. book" ex-
plained his wife. ":Here I am
almost late for Christmas .and
" you fall asleep" he grunted.
"What else could happen?"
he .said ' smartly. "This"
remarked his wife and she
gave him a big kiss. Merry
Christmas.
