The congregation enjoyed
a solo by Margaret McQueen
at the' Sunday morning ser-
vice.
Sunday afternoon the. Re-
sidents enjoyed the music of
Dr. Toll and the Seaforth-
Dashwood Community Band-
who put on a special Christ-
mas programme. We were
able to record the- program
me on the video so will be
enjoying it throughout the
building at a later date.
Mrs. Luther was here on
Sunday evening and .held a
service. We missed Marie
Flynn on Monday afternoon
at Old Tyme Music as she
was ill with a cold; however,
Elsie' Henderson played the
piano in' her place and the
five fiddles, Mr. Whitmore.'
Mr. McCall ney, Mr. Mc
Call, Mr, Hillen, Mr. Cant- .
elon assisted by Kenny Dale
and Jim Ruddock put 'on a
interesting programme.
Tuesday evening most of
the Residents attending the
pajama party came dressed
appropriately. Hot chocolate
and hot pop corn were served
to the Residents while Earl
and Martha Heywood enter-
tained. The carols that Earl
and Martha played and sang
certainly put us in the Christ-
mai mood.
Day Care showed their
monthly film on Wednesday.
_ afternoon hoping this would
show a better attendance.
The movie starred Bing Cros-
by and was much enjoyed by
those who attended.
Mrs. Prouty held Bible
Study on Thursday after-
noon. As our Christmas party
is on the 18th, Mrs. Prouty
will not be here but will hold
a service on the 30th.
