the Olympia restaurant on

and Mrs. Wm. Tugwell of
poderich. Mr. TugWell is
housing manager of the

The club members have
been busy selling tickets on ,
two hand hooked 'rugs, dona-
ted: by Mr. Alfred Knight, to
raise money for a Maple Villa
apartment sign for the
building. Mr. Tugwell, made
the draw on Wednesday
evening.
The first rug went to Mrs,'
Margaret jacklin land • the
second to Mrs. Edna. McLel-
lan. The sign is already on
the lawn. ,
McDONALD — BLOUNT
The marriage of Ruth Adelaide, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs., Robert Blount, of Willowdale to Murray Lauchlin
King McDonald, son of Mrs. Betty McDonald. of Brussels
and the late Thomas L. McDonald took place August 16. in
Oriole York Milt k United Church, Willowdale. The maid of
honour was Mary Blount, sister of the bride, of Kingston
and the bridesmaid was Miss Karen Robinson of Napanee.
Kenneth Ritchie of London was best man guests were
ushered by George Valiance of Toronto and Jim Wheeler
of Burlington, Murray and Ruth are residing in Elliot Lake
where they are on the staff of the Secondary School there.

November has, been an

membrance Day service for
our residents. The program
.vas very meaningful to those
who attended.
The 1st Brussels Girl
Guides visited the Home on
the 24th. They always bright-
en everyone's spirits with
their enthusiasm and sunny
dispositions.
Reverend Swan of the
Walton United Church has
been coming into our Home
to provide an inspirational
service for our people. The
response has been terrific
and everyone looks forward
to his coming.
On the 27th, we held a
fashion show here which
featured residents and staff
as models. The models for
the day were: Mrs. Margaret
McTaggart, Mrs. Maggie
MacDonald, Frank Dunn,
Mrs. Orvilla McCutcheon,
Mrs. Beatric Cardiff, Mrs.
,Debbie Troilope and Mrs,
Sandra Cowan. Many of our
.esidents and visitors enjoy-
:d being able to browse
through a large selection of
men's and women's clothing
without the inconvenience of
leaving home.
On November 30th, Rev.
LeDrew was here to offet
Communion to our staff and
residents.
Donald Dunbar, Freda
Pipe and Alice Brothers often
trop in to play the piano for
)ur residents. Everyone
.tppreciates and enjoys this
Interlude very much.
Our November birthday
party was presented by the
Cranbrook Institute. They
had a party game in which
everyone participated and
then led the residents in a
sing-song. After singing
"happy birthday" to Evelyn
Smith and John Riley, the
ladies served refreshments
and then stayed for a social
visit.
We are now in the process
of organizing our volunteer
program for 1981. We are
looking forward to meeting
new volunteers in the follow-
ing year as 'well as welcom-
ing back those who presently
serve us. If you are interest-
ed in donating some of your
time as a volunteer, we have
registration forms and volun-
teer information sheets avail-

sung by the Huronview choir,
Mrs. Rogers, our Dietician
led a carol singing on Mon-
day afternoon in Normal
Care Sitting Room.

Mabel Killough, Ida Town-
send and Tilley Dundas
enjoyed a van ride on Mon-
day morning.
Tuesday was the day we
started decorating the home
For the Christmas season and
as the week progressed there
are decorations and beauti-
fully decorated trees on
every floor.
On Wednesday afternoon
the Over 90 Club met on First
North. We appreciate the
volunteers, that come in the
first Wednesday of each
month to have the Over 90
Club meeting. Tea and short-
breads were served after
they listened to Elsie Hen-
derson play the piano.
Mrs. Prouty conducted
Bible Study on Thursday
afternoon.
Mass was held in the
Chapel on Friday meriting. '
We have a rot of good ,
programming taking place •
the month of December and
look forward to next Tuesday
evening when we are having •
a pajama party and Earl and
Martha Heywood entertain-
ing. Sunday is Dr. Toll's
special Community Band
Christmas programme and
on the 17th we will see the
Clinton Women's Institue
When the December Birthday
party will be held. The next
day we will have our Chist-
mas Party for' the Residents
and Seaforth Lions Club will
entertain on the 21st. Mrs.
McDonald will have a pro-
gramme in the auditorium on
the 28th, so you can see that
it is a busy and full month.
Huronview would like to
welcome Mrs. Mary Pining.
Mrs. Pining is from the
Clinton area and is now
living on Ground North.

Maxine Aletha Watts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max
Watts, Brussels and Murray Rae Houston, son of Mr. and
Mrs.1Rae Houston of Seaforth were united in marriage at
the Brussels United Church on Saturday, September 27.
The matron of honour was Mrs. Stephanie Kellington of
Brussels, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Janice
Houston of Calgary, .Alberta, sister of the groom, Ellen
Reid of Kitchener, friend of the bride, Trina and Ruth Ann
Watts, sisters of the bride. Flowergirls were Sara and Beth
Houston of Kitchenerx nieces of the .groom.
Best maniwas Gary Bennett of Walton& friend of the
groom. Ushers were Paul Storey of Seaforth, Mike Blake of
Brussels,. friends of the groom, David Watts of Toronto
and. Darrin Watts of Brussels brothers of the bride. Junior
Ushers were Steven and Jeff Mather of Grand Bend -
nephews of the groom. Mrs. Joanne King of Brussels was
organist and Albert Ten Pas of Brussels was the soloist. A
reception took place at the Brussels, Morris and Grey
Community Centre. Following a wedding trip to Northern,
Ontario, the couple are residing at R.R. 2, Brussels.
