which tied in with the
message presented by Elun-
ed entitled, "Lest We For-
get," to commemorate Nov-
ember.
Donna Knight presided for
the business portion of the 4i1f
meeting. In the absence of gok
Isobel Adams, who is confin-
ed to 'the hospital,. Ethel
Brewer acted as secretary.
Group 3 will cater to Cal .
ICrauter's dinner on Novem-
ber when he-entertains the
council and Group 2 will
provide the lunch after Sun-
day morning service on Nov-
ember 30.
The guild accepted an At
invitation from Judy Short-
reed to hold the Christmas
meeting on December 15 at
her home. The customary
gift exchange will be held
-again this year and the
president suggested that
Guild members invite a
fellow church member or
friend as a guest.
The TenPas family volun-
teered to decorate the church,
for the Festive Season. Isobel
Gibson and Marg McCutch-
eon will act as nominating
committee. The Sunday
School Concert will be held
on Sunday evening De'cem-
her 21 and Mary Douma
volunteered to read the scrip-
ture at' the concert as re-
quested.
Due to ever increasing ccist
of living, once again a
discussidd followed concern-
ing the price of meals for
outside. catering. Mrs.
Knight is to contact fellow,
churches and report at the
December meeting. After an
adjournment by Isobel Gib-
son, lunch was served.
