weaken market
The market at Brussels
Stockyards •started off active
on steers on Friday and
weakened later in the day
with pressure from the
arrival of American steers.
Heifers traded steady, cows
and pigs sold sharply higher.
There •were 1064 cattle and
2482 pigs on offer.
Choice Steers - 81.00 to
85.00 with sales to 89.75.
Good Steers - 78.00 to
81.00.
Two fancy steers
consigned by Greg and Steve
Wheeler of Brussels
averaging 1170 lbs. topped
the market at 89.75.
A steer consigned by Dave

weighing 1080 lbs. sold for
87.75 with his 29 steers
averaging 1199 lbs. selling
for an overall price of 84.75.
