Huron County CounciF has decided to
approve an advertising program as outlined
by the county's development • committee
which, includes the Printing of a tabloid
newspaper to be distributed as a county
Promotion.
The cost of the long-term advertising
program is estimated at about $22,000.
The council approved the printing of an
8-page tabloid newspaper which will
promote Moron County as a good place to
locate a„ business or light industry. It. Will
also promote the attractiveness of Huron as
pro
a home and vacation site with emphasis on
quality of life. The paper will be produced in,
a quantity of 20,000 for a price not to exceed
$12,000. and' will be distributed by the
development dePartment•
The county also adopted the idea of a
"Press Relations" release and the purchase
of the necessary paper at, a cost of S600.
A standard advertising format to be used
by all county department in 1981 was
adopted. Cost for the artwork and 20 copies
of six sizes is to cost $1.60— '
The council also approved the idea of
overprinting the county placemat in future
years but intend to use the present stocks of
placemats from the County and Museum
before a new placement is designed for this
overprinting.
The council approved the recommendation
that a standardized artwork be used in• each
of the "Village" brochures which promote
towns 'and villages in the county.
The present county of Huron booklets and
the Town booklets will be retained as the
County of Huron brochure for follow-up to
the tabloid newspaper. These can have the
standard format artwork on the cover as
suggested for the "Village" brochures.

Study in the chapel on Thurs-
day afternoon.
The Roman Catholics held
a mass in the chapel on
Friday morning.
Huronview would like to
welcome Fred Burdge from
Brucefield, and Stanley Wil-
son who is originally from
Goderich but has been living
with his son in St. Mary s.
Both these men are living on
men's floor. We would like to
also welcome Mr. Burdge to
the Over 90 Club.

Anti rabies
clinics planned
A free anti rabies clinic
will be held here in Blyth
December 4 between 3 and 8
p.m. In cooperation with the.
Huron County Health Unit
the Health•of Animals will be
vaccinating pets against ra-
bies.
