Miriam Elaine Lichty, daughter of Mi. and Mrs.' Daniel
• Liddy of R.R. #4 Brussels and Mark. Allen Graber son of
Mr. and Mrs., Ben Graber of Brooksville, Mississippi were
united in marriage, Saturday Oct. 4 at the Zion Mennonite •
Fellowship Church R.R. #3 Brussels. The maid of Honour
was Matie Lichty, sister of the bride and bridesmaids were
Waneda Bontrager and Tilly Lichty. The best: man was
Timmy Graber,-brother .of the groom and the groomsmen
were Ronnie Graber and Mervin Lichty. Following the
ceremony there was a dinner and reception at the Atwood
Community Centre. FolloWing a honeymoon to Niagara,
Mr. and Mrs. Graber will be residing in Brooksville
Mississippi U.S.A. s.
October 14 was the oc-
casion of the offiCial visit:

Harry Tebbutt, District
Deputy,, Grand Master. of
North,.Huron District..
Many visitpre were also
present from Londesboro,
Stratford, Ingersoll,
Wingham, 1313'th, Wrometet,
Listow,e1 and St. Marys. Bro.
Tebbutt's address centered
around Masonry, in general
and how to explain to people
who are not Masons- • just
what Masonry is all about. -
He. presented V.W. Bro.
Roy Cousins with a 50 year
jewel on behalf of the Grand
Lodge., of Ontario. Bro.
Cousins responded with a
resume of his Masonic life.
Bruce McCall was • pre-
sented with a Gold Honor .
Award 'by Jim ,Swatridge,
Past 'Grand. Stevitard. This
award consisted of a
Diploinala lapel pin,and card,
and was given kir 'the
meritorious contribution to
Masoniy.
A number of other
brethern from York Rt..
College assisted.Bro. McCall
replied fittingly. He is well
known for his capability as a
speaker. One remark was
that_he had` goiters much out
of Masonry, but claims that
he still owes. much to it.

arrangements

who had lived in Japan.

bazaar with be held on Oct:
24 at 8 p.m.
Mr. Terry Trites was in
charge of the service in the
Presbyterian church,
Sunday. His text was
"Phrases from The Lord's
Prayer". There will be a
congregational meeting
following the church service
Sun., Oct. 26.

Walker were Sunday supper
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Walker, Sheila and 'Kevin.

Tillie Irene -Graher daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
draber of Amboy, Indiana and Mervin Lichty, son of Mr.
and Mrs.•Dan Lichty of Brussels were united in marriage
on Sattirday, Apr it 12 in" Howard -Miami .
Mennonite Church, Amboy. Ernest Graber, father of the"
bride,officiated at the teremoney'. The Maid of honor was
Mary Ellen Graber, sister Of the .bride and .' the
bridesmaids were Marie Lichty, sister of the groom,
Miriam Lichty, sister of the groom and Linda Graber,
sister of the bride. The best. man was John Swartzen -
tuber, friend of the groom, the usheri were Glen
Bontrager, Mark Graber, Don Swartzentruber, all friends
lithe groom. Following the wedding, a reception was held
at the Miami. Gym. Following the wedding trip, the couple
resided at R.R. #3 Brussels.
Tracking dog visits BPS
Corporal O'Rourke and a tracking dog
from the Mount Forest O.P.P. were special
visitors to the Grade 2 class of the Brussels
Public. School last Tuesday.
They were visiting. Mrs. Mary Huether's
Grade 2 class in conjunction with the Science
Unit on dogs which the class is studying.
Mrs. Idella Wilson and her Grade 3 class
attended, as well as principal Ken Scott.
The Corporal shoWed the children how the
dog could sit ; stand, do jumps, and how it
'located a pouch with "pot" hi it. One of
these pouches was hidden in a desk, the
other under a mat.
