McLean, brother of the groom. The ringbearer was Terry
McLean, nephew of the. groom. The organist was Joanne
King of Brussels and the soloists were Gail White and
Gloria White, who. sang The Wedding Song, 0 Perfect Love

The United Church in Atwood was the scene of a
ceremony on August 23, uniting in marriage, Lynn Diane
Walters and James Douglas Cox. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Walters of R.R. 2
Atwood and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Cox of R.R. 3 Brussels. Rev. Wesley Ball of Thamesford
United Church, a friend of the family, officiated. Soloist
Larry Cox of Kitchener, brother of the groom was
accompanied by drganist Mrs. John Irvine of Atwood. The
maid of honor was Darlene Davidson of R.R. 3 Monkton, a
friend of the bride and bridesmaids were Marian Voskamp
of ,R.R. 2, Atwood, a friend of the bride; Karyn Walters of
R.R. 2, Atwood, sister of the bride and Dianne Cox of R.R.
3, Brussels, sister of the room. Jason Cox of St.
Catharines, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer and the
best man was Ken Cox of St. Catharines, brother of
the groom. The ushers were: Ron Wilson of R.R. 3,
Atwood; Bruce Cox of R.R. 3, Brussels, brother of the
groom and Steven Walters of R.R. 2, Atwood, brother of
the bride. Following the ceremony, there was a supper and
reception at the Atwood Community Centre.
Mr. and Mrs. Cox have returned from a wedding trip to
Frontier, Saskatchewan and Michigan and are residing at
R.R. 3, Monkton. • 14
