meeting at the Callander

which Mrs. Orvilla
McCutcheon is a resident.
Mrs. N, .Schade presided
for devotions) had as theme
"Stewardship". •
Mrs. L. Gadkin as ,
• pianist. Mrs. G. Love Sr.
read the scripture taken: from
2nd Corinthians. -Mrs,
Schade then led in prayer.
The offering was taken by
Mrs. N. McGavin and
dedicated by Mrs. Schade.
Mrs. Love gave the
Meditation "Christianity
began with a gift." •
Mrs. N. McGavin gave the
topic "Hymn- s", where they
originated) who wrote
the words, -music etc. Mrs.
Schade closed this part of the
meeting with a prayer.
Mrs. M. Dennis, nres.,
presided for the business
thanking everyone taking
part in devotion, also we
learned the visitors followed
by a reading "A Mother's
Sept. Song". _
Mrs. G. McMichol read
the minutes of the last
meeting followed by roll call
Which- was answered by
"What on earth are you
doing for God with the talent
He gave you?"
A social half hour was then
held ' with lunch served- by

McNichol, K. Rock. and Mrs.
G. Lave Jr.

held at the home of Mrs.

noon.

Xrauter were visiting with
relatives at Ottawa for a few
days last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew
Bremner', Doris ) spent the
weekend at their cottage.
Mr. and Mrs. Cliff' Bray
visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Irvin Lewis of R.R. 2, St.
Pauls' on the weekend.
