Mr. Lawson entertained by playing his mouth organ, Mrs. Lockhart read the poem In, the Usual Way. Margaret Murray thanked, those who partic- ipated in the program on behalf of the Huronview residents. Thursday morning Mark Sproat, Eber Lewis, Ben Sowerby, Les Fortune, Frank Bissett, Norm Dupee, Dick Wilson, Jim Ruddock, Alex Howe, Charles Macey and Louis Wild were invited to. Mr. and Mrs, Joe Verway's farm to fish in their trout stream. Although we caught lots of fish none would win any' records. Bets served a lovely barbecue lunch which was finished off with delic- ious homemade pies. It was felt that the more preprations done before the birth of the baby, the easier the acceptance of that new- born into the family. It was found that the birthing experience of a mother can affect her nurs- ing relationship, and the advantages of early nursing were explained. Both parents and baby benefit from nat- ural childbirth. Positive aspects of family life were covered, with an emphasis on couples being both companions and par- ents.
