Mr. and Mrs. James Mc - Ova of Mississauga spent a few days last week with Mrs. Istldred Vannan. Mr, and. Mrs. McQueen of Ingersoll, visited over the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Florence. McArthur and family and also, with her grandmother, Mrs. Ivy. Cook of Belgrave. Correspondent. MRS. L. STONEHOUSE 887-9847 80 descendants of the late Charles and Maria Edgar attended the 32nd reunion at Riverside Park on Sunday July 13. The afternoon was spent with sports for the children conducted by Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Taylor of Havvkesville and Mr. and Mrs. Brian. Ireland, of Teeswater while the older folks renewed old acquaintances . and viewed several old pictures. Results of sports: Pre- school race: Debbie Ireland; 5-8-Patricia Daer and Rox- anne Ireland; 8-11-Dianne Ireland and Cheryl Taylor; 12 and over - Melody Ireland and Denise Ireland. Adult Race - Glen and Delphine Jacques. Bean Bag Throwing - men against women. Men winning best 2 out of 3. Throwing Bean Bag into hula hoop - women winning. Snake race and Bean Bag Bowling were enjoyed by young and old ending with a candy scramble for the child- ren. Following the sports, Ken- neth MacDonald of Tees- water said Grandpa Edgar's blessing and all sat down to a smorgasbord supper. A short' business meeting was held by - the presidents Maitland Edgar of Petrolia. Two minutes silence was observed in memory of Mrs. Lillie Weir and Clifton Ire- land who passed away since the last reunion. Election of officers for 1981 were: President - Mrs. Elva. Jacques of Gorrie; Vice-President - David Ire- land of Teeswater; Secretary- Treasurer - Mrs. George Gibson of Wroxeter; Sports Committee - Mr. and Mrs. Brian Ireland, Teeswater and Mr. and-Mrs. Glen Jacques, Walkerton. Relatives attend- ing were from Woodstock, Gorrie, Clifford, Bluevale, Teeswater, Petrolia, Walker- ton, Goderich, Hawkesville, Wingham, Blyth and Bel- grave. GOLL REUNION The descendents of the late Conrad Goll and his wife Minnie Kilty held their 2nd annual reunion in Wingham on Sunday, July 13th at Riverside Park with 60 in attendance. Games and contests were enjoyed and a social time was had by A pot luck supper Was served. Next year's picnic was, planned and officers installed. Those in attendance came from. London, Listowel, Guelph, St. Clements, Go!. rie, Georgetown, Bluevale, Brussels, Wingham, ton. The Forrest Reunion was held on Sunday July 13th at the Belgrave arena with an attendance of 40, coming from Detroit, Saginaw, Birch Runn, Hensall, Zurich, Brus- sels, Clinton, Goderich and Belgrave. All enjoyed a good ball game. Jerry Seder from Birch Runn will be the President 1 , for the 1981 reunion which will be held at Birch Runn July 12.. PERSONALS Mrs. Tom Garniss of Brus- sels and Mrs. Lewis Stone- house attended the 51st Roth Reunion at Springbank Park, London on Saturday. Kevin Logan, of Wyoming, Ivfichael and Shawn Logan of Burlington, Michelle and Maria Arruda of Toronto spent a week at Point Farms, Goderich with their -grand- mother Mrs.' Cliff Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Barry Logan of Burlington spent Saturday with his mother Mrs. Cliff Logan and attended &family reunion at Alliston on Sun- day. Michael and Shawn who have been holidaying with their grandmother returned home With their parents. Mrs. Len Jarvis of Listowel spent a few driys last week with Mr. and Mrs. James R. Coultes. We are pleased to hear that Mr. Lawrence Taylor was able to return home last Thursday after being a pat- ient in University Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Garner Nicholson visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Nicholson of Alliston; Sherri Nicholson, who has spent the past week with her grandparents, re- turned with them.
