Mr. And Mrs. Mann
farmed near Moncrieff in
Grey Township until 1967.

United Church. Mr. Mann
has is 50 year jewel from the

Music has always been a
main hobby in the Mann
family. The couple entertain.
A family dinner held at
Jade Garden s Listowel
marked the 50th wedding
anniversary of Mr. and Mrs.
Archie Mann, 145 Winston
East, Listowel.
• The bride of fifty years ago
is the former Pearl Bowes,
daughter of the late Robert
and Eliza. Jane (Hunter)
Bowes of The Trowbridge
area. Mr. Mann is the son of
the late William Mann, who
immigrated 'to Canada in
'1870 from Ellon, Aberdeen-
shire, Scotland and his wife
Naomi Clark of Downie
Township.
The couple were married
June 18, 1930 by Rev. James

show will go on sale at 6:30
p.m. on the day of perform-
ance, and at 11:30 p.m. for
matinee performances.
Seat
reservations for those tickets
will be made as usual after
7:00 p.ni. and 12:00 noon for
matinees.
Carol Innes presented a
film script entitled, "Walter
Fish", which was followed
with everyone participatng in
question period dealing with:
1. Defences to prevent us
from -helping others. 2.
Defences taken from our own
experiences. 3. Difference
between Walter Fish and the
Good Samaritan
President Donna Knight
opened the business portion
of the meeting. Rose Marie
Bishop presented the finan-
• cial statement which reveal-
ed a substantial profit from
the smorgasbord supper.
The group will donate
$1000.00 to the BOard of
Managers.
The roll call was answered
with a favourite spring
flower. Arrangements were
made for a member to be
responsible for the floral
arrangements to be placed in
church for the month of July.
Congratulations to. Mr.
Edward Pollard, a resident of
the. Callander Nursing Home
who reached his 97th.
Birthday on Tuesday, June
7th. Mr. Pollard has one
brother Ben Pollard of
California who is int his 103rd
year. They are the last
surviving members of a
family of ' 13 and former
residents of the Ethel and.
Brussels Communities.
Bob Rann and daughter
Mary Beth of Cambridge
visited this Oast week with
his mother Mrs. Aletha
%inn. Bob has just returned
from a six week business trip
to Israel.

that the Festival has slightly
changed the system of seat
reservation to better accom-
modate patrons. People may
now reserve a seat number
anytime after 7:00 p.m. on
the day of the performance.
She says "In the past, the
time has been 6:00 p.m. This
way, we hope patrons will
have more time to linger over
supper before they come to
the theatre to reserve their
seats." People who are at-
