Most Japanese are Bhuddists or Shintoists and those of the Christian faith are in the minority. The Christians in Japan fear the nationalism and militarism promoted by Shintoism. Mrs. Ross Higgins con- ducted a question and answer period on the flirt'''. HOME HELPERS • The Home Helpers met Monday at the home of Mrs. Reginald Shultz. Mrs.• Garner Nicholson presided and opened with a poem. Mrs. Hebo Sierstsema led in prayer. Three guests were present, Secretary's . report was read by Mrs. John McBurney and treasurer's report by Mrs. Victor Youngblut. Forty. four sick and shut-ins visits were recorded. Mrs. William Dalrymple read two. poems, "The miracle of 'Spring" and "Outdoor Church." Mrs. Shultz gave a reading "Home." Mrs. Nicholson read a story on .the work of Dr. David Livingstone who .spent 33 years in Africa among the natives. Offering was received and dedicated followed by the hymn "What a friend we have in Jesus." 4-H MEETS Belgrave Club II met at the home of Mrs. Ross Higgins on Saturday. Members are Denise Nethery, Donna Higgins, Angela Nethery, Joanne Wood, and Jennifer Lanzenby. Members made pizza and meat loaf and it wasenjoyed by all. The leaders are Mrs. Ross liiggins and 'Mrs. Alex Nethery.
