Dave Watson spent the weekend in London with their son-in-law 'and daughter Mr. and. Mrs. Robert Pritchard and family. Mrs. Paul Ponomarenka was a patient in Wingham and District Hospital for a few. days. They were also taken on 'a bus trip around the Island , where they visited many points of interest and had lunch at the Atlantis Hotel by the Atlantic Ocean. In the country where the sugar cane was grown, the homes were , not as elaborate, you could tell the rich district from the poor, and the machinery is not as updated as ours in Canada.
