On Monday evening there was a display of fire- work's for the children of the community. Ball registration was Wednesday evening and teams have been organized with 1 ocal coaching for grade 1 and up. Many are turning out for an evening of fun. These teams are not entered in leagues. INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS—The Brussels Legion held an Installation of Officers ceremony at the Legion on Friday night. Newly installed officers are: front row from left-Mabel Willis, Jean Bridge, Verna Tunney, Joan Miller, Grace Jutzi, Marie Stute, and Bessie Blenkhorn. In the second row are RosS Bennett, Kaye Duncan, Helen Dobson and Florence Webb7In the third row. are: Glenn Bridge, Bill Dobson, Al Logan, John Sims, Tom MacFrlane, Ai Webb, Dori Blenkhorn, Ross Duncan and Ted . The cancer society appreciates the efforts of all those who collected. Mrs. Ida Gordon and Mrs. Ken Miller attended the funeral of the late Mrs. Emma McCallum in St. Thomas on Wednesday. This should have ,been Wednesday June 4, 5 to 10 p.m. Cranbrook ladies at WI annual W.I. members attended the 78th annual meeting of Huron East Institutes on Tuesday, May 13 at Wroxeter United Church. The Cranbrook branch was represented by Mrs. Clare Veitch, Mrs. Goldwin Knight, Mrs. Jack Cox, Mrs. Leslie Knight and Mrs. Gordon Engel. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Knight were in Goderich on Thursday attending the funeral of their aunt, the late Mrs. Donald Riehl. Mrs. Wm. Cookson, Victoria, B.C. visited Mrs. Calvin Cameron and other relatives the past week. HONOURARY MEMBERS—Huron-Bruce M.P. Murray Cardiff and Huron-Bruce M.P.P. Murray Gaunt were made honourary members at the Brussels Legion's Installation of Officers on Friday night.
