If neglected, they may, one day, flare up with a sudden violence, wreaking . serious havoc in the joints. It is important to remem- ber that most cases of rheumatoid arthritis can be controlled when treatment starts early enough. The sad truth is that many people have the symptoms for months.before seeing, a doc- tor. The crippling that was once so prevalent with arth- ritis patients need never happen if the patient gets to the doctor quickly and fol- lows the doctor's orders.
