If yotere looking for' ways
to liven up your landscape,
how about something delici-
ously different., Why not add
a dash, of flavor, as well as
color—plant tomatoes!
When, you stop to consider
tomatoes, you'll find that
they're just as easy to grow
as flowers and are even more
versatile. In fact, they offer
another important advan-
tage,--you can always eat
what you plant, and with
food prices being what they
are, that's an important con-
sideration.
Tomatoes can be planted '
in almost any way imaginable
and each will make an exquis-
ite 'decoration. You can plant,
them vertically on trellises,
fences or specially prepared •
displays.
You can also site them
horizontally with other veg- ,
etables or flowers to create
informal gardens, breaking
up solid areas of foliage and •
trees with splashes of vibrant
