When something new
comes along, it
receives attention. Whether
it` is a new car, snowmobile,
Or other products, something
new is, always an extra
attraction. We now are start-,
ing in a new' decade. It has
already ad some special
distinguishing things. that ,
have made it different, some: -
good and some not so good.
It is the wish and hope that
the Town & Country. Trade,

sees the closed store• fronts
and the "for Sale" signs, we
wonder if the town is going to
disappear, and lose its
reputation of being a good'
place to live in and to. do
business in. There. are, -
however, still some active
businesS enterprises in our
village; not only on the ain

thoroughfare and in the
immediate surrounding area:
The reason, fOr the trade
show or home show is to
make .the public aware of
what this area has to offer its
residents in products and
services. We hope' that' the
public will benefit by being '
e
better informed about these
products they ,use; to hear
about • and see new items
displayed and demonstrated;
,and also discuss some of
their problems and concerns
"
with. the people who sell,
service and, install the differ-
ent produCts.
We hope that the,business
peoPle will benefit by having
an opportunity to inform the
public about' the products
and services they have to
offer and also discusg the
.different needs and concerns
with their most important
persons, their customers.
We also hope 'that the Lions
Club' will benefit because in
order for a service club to be
successful, it must be active.
Just as a person needs
As we then enter a new

we hope that it will benefit all

area a better place to live in.
