New members are immediately placed on committees to become familiar with club functions. After serving on several committees a member could eventually be elected 'to the Board of Directors. From here 'he can advance through. ,;the three offices. of Vice- President and finally become President. ByThe time a. Lion does reach. President he has gained much experience in all club activities. Regular supper ineetings of the club are held on the 2nd and 4th Mcinday of every month. Each member is riot, Med by means of a. Bulletin arid to encourage attendance a "Buddy" call system 'is used. The excellent home :cooked meals provided by the local Church ladies have been the envy of visitors to our Club for many years.
