offs Brussels Midgets defeat-
ed Blyth 9-5. Goal scorers,
were Paul Johnston 2, Kevin
Deitner 2, Ken Higgins,
Doug McArter, Bruce Bone-
schansker, Ken Cousins,
Steve Knight, 1 goal each.
Assists went to Todd
Wheeler, Kevin Bishop,
Brian Tenpas, Ken Cousins,
Doug McArter, Paul John-
ston, Ken Higgins.
The second game of the
series Blyth defeated
Brussels 3-0.
The third and deciding
game was played in Brussels
with Brussels defeating
Blyth 8-4. Scoring for Brus-
sels was Ken Cousins with 2
goals, Brian Tenpas 1, Paul
Johnston 2, Todd Wheeler 1,
Mike Watson 1, Ken -Higgins
'I goal each. Assists, went to
Kevin Bishop, Ken Higgins,
Kevin Deitner, Brian Tenpas
Bruce Boneschansker, Ken
Cousins, Paul Johnston.
The midgets then went on
to meet Mildmay winners of
the northern group. The first
game played in Brussels,
Mildmay defeated Brussels
4-3. Goal scorers were Ken
Cousins, Brian Tenpas, Paul
Johnston. Assists went to
Ken Higgins, Brian Tenpas,
Mike Watson.
The second game played in
Mildmay, Brussels was de-
feated 9-3. This eliminated
them from 0.M.H.A. play-
offs. Scoring for Brussels
was Ken Cousins, Kevin
Deitner and Brian Tenpas.
Assists went to Mike
Watson, Kevin. Bishop, Todd
Wheeler, Ken Higgins and
Brian. Tenpas.
The midgets participated
in a tournament in Paisley on
Saturday. In their first game
they defeated Stayner 3-2.
Ken Cousins scored 2 goals
and Brian Tenpas 1. Assists
went to Ken Higgins, Ken
Cousins, Paul Johnston,
Mike Watson.
• In their second game of the
•tournament Lucknow
defeated Brussels 5-4. Goal
scorers were Ken Cousins
2, Kevin Deitner, Mike
Watson 1 each. Assists went
to Todd Wheeler, Paul
Johnston, Steve Knight,
Brian Tenpas. The tourna-
ment was won by Mildmay
defeating Lucknow 6-0.

February 18-24, 1980,
officers at Wingham detach-
ment had thirty investiga-
tions. •
Seven charges were laid
under the Highway Traffic
Act and five warnings were
issued.
During the week there
were six motor vehicle
collisions which caused an
estimated $6270.00 in •
property damage and
injuries to two persons.
On Tuesday, February 19,
1980, Bonnie Lee Taylor of
RR1 Wroxeter and Elbert
Van Donkersgoed of RR2,
Gorrie were involved in a
collision on county road #28,
North of Highway 87, Howick
Township. Mr. Van
Donkersgoed received minor
injuries as a result of the
collision.
On Thursday, February
21, 1980, Robert K.
Chambers, of Wingham,
Ontario received minor
injuries as a result of a single
car accident on Highway #4,
