In this project members will learn how to use their creativity to personalize their own bedroom. Members will also learn several basic macrame knots which are put to practical use in' making two macrame accessories for themselves. Members' age range is twelve by March 1 up to twenty-six years. This , community was shocked en Saturday to learn of the sudden passing of William McArter. We wish to extend our sincere sympathy to his. wife Florence and to his family Joanne and Gary. Saturay with Mrs. Mae Richardson of zWingham. • The Annual meeting ,pf Knox United Church was' held on Sunday, January 27. Following the morning' service, members of the congregation gathered in the Sunday School room where all enjoyed a' smorgasbord lunch. Rev. John G. Roberts conducted the meeting and opened with the hymn "All Hail the Power of 'Jesus Name," followed by prayer. Mrs. Glenn Coultes' was appointed secretary and read the minutes of the, last meeting of January 1979. Election of new officers for 1980. Session - Robert Granby,, Lewis Stonehouse. Stewards - Mrs. Lawrence Taylor, John Anderson, Harold Vincent. Trustee - Beri Johnston;; Christian Education Mrs. William Coultes. was re- appointed. All members of the 'inshers and offering stewards, manse committee,' United Church Men, ,Sunday. School Superintendents ' and auditors were returned to office. It was decided to hold the CoUntry Fayte on Saturday, J.prie 28, in the Belgrave Community Centre. Plans were approved to purchase .a piano to be used in the church sanctuary. Clifford Coultes, on behalf of the congregation moved a vote of the thanks to Rev. John G, and Mgs Roberts for their leadership and spiritual guidance during the past year. The meeting adjourned and closed with the benedicition. The second line of Morris Township euchre club held their party at the home of Mr., and Mrs. Ralph Darlovv last Monday evening with four tables in play.
