Mrs. Hoover entertained
the afternoon unit in her
home on Tuesday. There
were 17 members present on
this first meeting of the. Year.
The leader, Mrs. Cudmore
read an, appropriate poem for
the New Year followed by "A
New Leader's Prayer.
In the absence of Mrs.
Hazelwood, Mrs. Hupfer
convened the devotions.
Mrs.. , Steffler offered
"Thoughts for the New Year.
Mrs. Hupfer led in prayer
folloWed by group discussion
on Psalm I.
A study of Japan was
introduced by Mrs. Steffler.
She. explained that previous
